The Official Blog Of Alicia Goranson
That's not funny.
You did a good deed which is good but 5 bucks worth of gas is not good enough, they should of threw in a quart of oil and some windshield washing fluid!
B.T.W. I would warn you about person info in the picture but I'm sure it already crossed your mind.
That's so perfect. Oh, you're A+. Well of course you are.
"Blood for Oil"...That's exactly what we are doing in Iraq!!!
and I thought cookies and juice after a blood donation was freakin genius! (up here in canada)
I didn't know they gave out prizes for donating. I may have to get stuck the next time the opportunity arises.
Wow, that is unreal! I wonder who is behind such nefarious, underhanded 'deals'? So, Mobil Oil is in "cahoots" with the NYC Blood Donor Society?! At the very least, I see that the card was redeemable for cash!
Finally.. something positive comes from blood for oil. And noone died for it!! Welcome back A.G. Its been awhile.
i can see the t-shirt:i payed taxes to help fund a billion dollar war,in which several thousand of my countrymen died, the result of which increased the already bloated profits of the oil companies,i donated blood...and all i got was this lousy $5 gas card.(oh, and btw, i live in a city where most people dont drive anyway)do you think it would fit???
Just saw Love, Ludlow. You're gorgeous and brilliant!Regards, John
Gas in New York? You'd think they'd give you a Metrocard...
just saw love ludlow and really enjoyed it. after reading thru your blog, it occurred to me that the impression i have of you from your acting work, and the impression i'd have from reading your blog (if you were unknown) are of two completely different people. not sure if that means anything, other than the fact that you are probably a dynamic person, or, that you suffer from some kind of schizophrenia - which in itself could be a sign of genius. then again, maybe its just more or less common that the way people write and how they behave are naturally different. oh well, enough rambling for now. tootles.
that's wicked...here in Croatia,where I live,people get something to eat
Well, that's ironic. Wait for the mainstream media gets ahold of this...blood for oil thingy. It will sell millions of papers! :)
Hi well it makes a lot of cents that they gave you money for blood , but guess What?? My husband whos a Vietnam Vet(yes he got spit on) and now goes to the Veterans Administration Hospitals or Annexes for helth care also gets money for Blood and travel we travel 60miles round trip to our local VA and guess how much travel pay he gets?? $2.38 on a Gov't printed check ,Nice huh? 60 miles = $2.38 ! Love Ludlow great Movie and well Done Alicia.
have you contacted Coop? this could be the SCOOP you 2 were destined for!!!
don't you mean that you got oil for blood, instead of the other way round ?
After many blood donations, you also get some nice war wounds (scars) on your arm! Worth it, for such a good deed!
I miss your blogs.I hereby request you post more.please?
Hey Lecy/Alicia,I stumbled across your web site and tried writing you a couple weeks ago - not certain of its arival, importance, etc. In any event, as it has been a while, just wanted to say hello, let you know I'm doin' fine: living in Dixie, bartendending, traveling, and generally living like an overgrown child. Likewise, I hope all is well with you - I saw your film, which was quite clever and endearing. In any event, I'm on vacation as of last Tuesday and off to scenic Douala on Monday, visiting an old pal and hiking a bit.Hope you're doing well.Best,-Alex
I think the image is awesome. A sort of clash, but maybe not. Good for you though.New to the blog, thanks a lot.
